It’s funny how none of the events in The Final Shape would ever be happening if it weren’t for the Red War

I still don't understand why they don't at least have this mission in the timeline for new players. As someone who started with Destiny 2 all the way back when Forsaken was just released, I genuinely really enjoyed the Red War campaign. It felt cool and captivating and while yes, there was definitely some dull moments, overall it was a very good campaign for new lights. Combined with modern features like enhanced movement, no more double primary meta and cool new supers and super building, it would be an even better experience for new players should it ever be reintroduced.

I know Im hoping for a miracle, but I really want them to make a kinda "Destiny 2: Legacy Edition" before they make a Destiny 3

I used to say old Destiny 2 sucked. Now that its gone, i miss it more than ever.

Imagine walking for what feels like weeks only to meet fucking Hawthorne.

This was just a truly beautiful mission to play and I am honored having experienced it for myself and after seeing this after killing the witness it shows just how far the story developed

red war felt like a halo campaign, the final shape felt like a destiny campaign.

Laaaaate comment but my second fave part(first is definitely the well timed drop) was at 1:06 where the raise in the vocalist's pitch was in sync with the missile's release. I'm gonna take this version as the canon one in what actually happened rather than my version of me fumbling around the controls trying to dodge missile locks when the drop hit Lmao.

And the final shape ended this it was a good run boys

ive played since D1 release, i was 9 at the time. currently a lot older. XD, Red war was insane. i remember crying and feeling powerless when playing this mission. I dont think i'll ever experience that again. only other mission that made me feel like this was "Hows your sister" in the prison of elders. fck you Uldren. idc that you are somehow a good-guy now. smh. fck you. the pure hatred i felt in forsaken is unmatched. but the lack of hope in this mission is what made it so good. holy shit i wish i could experience destiny over again as if it was the first time again.

Coming back to this now after Final Shape is just so different. This mission will always be one of my favorites even after the entirety of the Light and Dark Saga.

i got a kinda fast invasion too. i was going up to charlie then i went up the roof to his safe room then there was julianna i jumped in the air then assasinated

I never even played d1, but when I turned that corner and saw the traveler shackled and that music hit, it made me emotional
